May we boldly go forth as connectors for Christ in this world where separation and divisiveness run rampant

Holy Bridges

I never looked at or considered bridges in the manner as described by Kundtz this morning. He writes, “They are the arteries that facilitate the movement of life within the community. Like cathedrals, they are conduits that facilitate bringing two distant places together.” Bridges are definitely connectors; they lead us to and from, providing opportunities to explore and engage in new areas with different walks of life. They also support continuity and connectivity. Bridges, whether physical or symbolic bring together disjointed entities and provide oneness, literally bridging a divide.

This makes me recall Exodus 14:21 which reads, “And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.” Our Father will always provide a way for us to be led to places and connect to people on purpose, whether bridges are constructed or ways are cleared to create a clear path for our destinies and purposes in this life.

Small Straw Scripture: John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

When we seek our Father, He will surely provide comfort and assurance that cannot be found through anyone or anything else. It is up to us individually to trust and be able to experience it.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Isaiah 9:2

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

Know that hope and salvation are always found in following Jesus Christ. Troubles and trials are only temporary; triumph and testimonies will always follow.

May we boldly go forth as connectors for Christ in this world where separation and divisiveness run rampant, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
