Love today in every way possible

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8

1 Peter 4:8 says, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” This morning’s message, “Love Covers”, the writer says, “Love is what sets us apart from the world. We identity with Jesus because of love. Often love is not earned or deserved; it is given. Love can be very difficult and require all our strength…. When we love others deeply, there is no room for sin to fester and cause bitterness. We can forgive sins, focus forward, mend relationships, and leave injustice in the capable hands of Christ.“ All we need to REmember in this life of sin is that Jesus Christ is love. Therefore our of everything in the world, love is the greatest thing that we can ever have and give away. It is powerful and life changing, especially when our hearts are pure and we give it away.

REflection from Awesome: Building Great Relationships by Rick Warren

We are continuing to BE encouraged by Rick Warren this morning in his message “Help Each Other Grow”. He says, “One of the marks of awesome relationships is that you help each other grow”, and he highlights two ways that help and two that hinder. He informs us that growth can occur through example and through conversations. He says, “People don’t want to hear a sermon. They want to see an example of Jesus in your life.” We should also take time to have conversations that matter. What we don’t want to do is criticize and compare. We must work to lift each other up, for each of us are unique. Let’s focus on the positive aspects of our lives and work to nurture those things that strengthen and develop one another.

John 3:17
