Stay humble in Christ

His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love. Psalm 157:10-11

I am embracing from today’s message the fact that we don’t always have to BE strong. As the title of today’s message says, “The Lord Delights” in those who fear Him, who put their unfailing love in Him, as written in Psalms 147:11. The author adds, “He wants us to learn how to trust in him and rely on his might rather than attempt to muscle our way through life in our own strength. Humility is far more pleasing to the Lord than ability. Our skills and strength are gifts from God, and our humble love is our grateful gift back to him.” When we don’t have the strength to go on, in Him we can humbly bow out and depart on.

REflection from The Leader in You by Ebony Small

The final message from “The Leader in You” speaks to “Influence”. It says, “Influence is the ability to steer the course of a person’s life toward a meaningful outcome. In the case of a Christian, influence is our ability to point others toward the transformative power of Jesus Christ and encourage them to submit their lives daily to his lordship…. In building a platform, we need to make our salvation and ministry the foundation—the substance of what God has called us to steward.” As the hymn says, “On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand”; for everything we do, everything we say, and everything we are, may it BE focused on do His will. When we walk in such a way, others will forever BE drawn to us for Him.

Psalm 56:3

There is nothing we’ll go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) where we cannot depend on You.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Stay humble in Christ, my friend.
