Be open to love and learn
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give. You shouldn't give if you don't want to. You shouldn't give because you are forced to. God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
A “Cheerful Giver” as is the title of today’s message, is what our Father desires us to be. 2 Corinthians 9:7 says, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give. You shouldn't give if you don't want to. You shouldn't give because you are forced to. God loves a cheerful giver.” Analyze your actions this day and each day. Ensure your actions are a result of your heart and not just to complete a task. Give with grace and gratitude of God, not guilt.
Reflection from Choosing Gratitude
Day 7 is called “For Those Who Teach” from “Choosing Gratitude”. Today’s devotional begins with a quote from Karl A. Menninger which says, “What the teacher is, is more important than what (s)he teaches.” This reminded me of a quote that says, people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. True teachers have a special and unique natural gift. As with the prayer associated with today’s message, our Father is our greatest teacher. “Thank you for when we were ready to be taught, and help us to continue to be ready. Help us to be learners, to be open, to be humble. To not be know-it-alls, but to be learn-it-alls. Thank you that you are the greatest Teacher of grace and truth over time.“ Think if those who have impacted you and continue to do so as coaches, mentors, and leaders around you, but also think of yourself and what you contribute to others.

We may not like everybody, but let us lead in loving each other because God is love.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Be open to love and learn, my friend.
