Boundaries and balance are best for our lives

Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. Psalm 37:24

As I woke up this morning, I thought to myself how tired I am. Although I had a good night’s rest, it has been an extremely busy week, and God knew that and gave me today’s devotional “Weary to the Core”. The author says, “Have you ever been run so ragged that you just didn’t know if you could take even one more step?… Even your very bones feel weary, and you fall into your bed at night, drained from it all. There is someone who is ready to catch you when you fall.” He is our safety and our comforter; He is our peace. When you feel like you cannot go on, call on Him, and if you don’t have the strength to call, just look to Him and He will be there. There is never a moment in our lives that He is not near. Our Father is always there to bless and keep us; lean on and surrender everything to Him.

Reflection from 5 Habits to Integrate Faith and Work

The final step of the “5 Day Habit to Integrate Faith and Work” is to “Speak for Yourself”. We are encouraged to remember “Eventually, some will ask, ‘Why are you doing this?’ and we need to be able to answer with conviction. The author says, “Ask God to give you a humble answer that glorifies him… Simply state your reason. That’s what we mean when we suggest you speak for yourself.” Be confident in yourself and convinced in Christ.

Proverbs 13:20

We become who and what we see, so let’s be vigilant about who is around you and me.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
