BE with Thee
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1
Today’s devotional, “Thrive in the Winter” lifts up Ecclesiastes 3:1, which says, “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.” This passage today speaks to the importance that I have learned through my faith JOurneY, which is the importance of just BEing sometimes. It says, “Winter can be a time of inactivity… But stillness and slowness do not mean nothing is happening. In nature, things are always happening below the surface…. Sometimes slowing down can be one of the most powerful acts in the life of a believer. It is a declaration of trust that the one who made us is still working and fighting for us.” One verse that I focused on (in faith) and didn’t completely understand until time passed by is Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God…”. Take time to BE—letting go and letting God to intervene.
Mark 16
Let us do as Jesus instructed in Mark 16:15 after He arose, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
REflection from Sacred Search by Gary Thomas
The final message from the series “Sacred Search” by Gary Thomas is “God us with You”. Thomas REcaps the series by saying, “Remember how we started this book? Seek first the kingdom of God.… The first call of every Christian (in a RElationship) is to fulfill God’s will for their life and to grow in righteousness.” He goes further to say, “Most of us will not be called into a Hosea marriage, but some of you, even after making a careful choice, may well feel Hosea’s pain of betrayal. This will hurt, but it needn’t wreck or define your life if your spiritual priorities are in the proper order.” With God there is no failure; there are lessons and blessings. In all things, including our RElationships, put Him first.
Hebrews 10:24
Let’s work to show others and move in love for that is what us expected from us above.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
BE with Thee, my friend.
