Where we are anchored is our answer

“so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,” Colossians‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The scripture connected with Osteen’s message this morning from Colossians 1:10 says, “…walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” Osteen expands on this saying, “If you will keep moving forward in faith, honoring God, you will come into a strength that you didn't have before. That's finishing grace.” Situations in life will come upon us that we (or others) think will come against us, but when we focus on the Father, He will help us T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) and work it out and strengthen us too.

Isaiah 57

No matter what we may have to go T.H.R.O.U.G.H., “Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death”, as written in ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭57:2‬ ‭NIV‬‬.

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

This morning Meyer speaks about “The Anchor of Hope”. She says, “When you and I base our hope firmly on God and His Word, we may feel the wind and waves, but in the end we will not be moved. During a storm, hope gives us the ability to look at things as they are and still be confident that something better is coming.” There is a song that says, “My soul has been anchored in the Lord”. Let us REmain steadfast and immovable with our hope in Him.
