Christ is always with you when others come and go
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor [perpetual animosity, resentment, strife, fault-finding) and slander be put away from you, along with every kind of malice all spitefulness, verbal abuse, malevolence]. Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32 AMP
I have been striving to “Live Differently” with Christ. As a child who grew up in the church, I did as I was told, but now, I study the Word, which shapes and guides me, encouraging me to work to be more like Christ. As the message says, “A byproduct of faith is a desire to live and love differently. It's setting aside the ways you used to operate and embracing the ways of God. It's an intentional decision to see the world through the lens of love and grace.” I’m living intentionally and hope you choose to as well, sharing the love of Christ through our words, actions and deeds.
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (Ecclesiastes 4, Ecclesiastes 5, & Ecclesiastes 6)
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NRSV
Proverbs 4:23
Our hearts are our compasses, leading us along life’s journey. Let nothing or no one come in the way of your direct line with Christ.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Christ is always with you when others come and go, my friend.
