Continue to cultivate your relationship with Christ, and keep faith and hope within
But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 2 Peter 3:8 NIV
It takes time for other to begin “Getting to Know You” (and me) when new relationships are being developed. Some things are evident immediately, and other characteristics don’t present themselves until certain situations arise. It is important for us to continue to get to know our Father as we read the Bible, worship and engage with others, and also reflecting on His ways as He helps you and me along life’s way. “Yes, forever is in our future, and to spend it with God will be—well, pure heaven!” Let us continue to experience His goodness on earth, and wait with anticipation to meet Him face to face.
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (1 Chronicles 10, 1 Chronicles 11, & 1 Chronicles 12)
“Saul said to his armor-bearer, “Draw your sword and run me through, or these uncircumcised fellows will come and abuse me.” But his armor-bearer was terrified and would not do it; so Saul took his own sword and fell on it…. Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord; he did not keep the word of the Lord and even consulted a medium for guidance, and did not inquire of the Lord. So the Lord put him to death and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse.”
1 Chronicles 10:4; 13-14 NIV
Hebrews 11:1
What our faith proves to us that we have experienced, proves to us what our future will hold.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
