Kundtz’s message today starts off with a line from Thornton Wilder’s play Our Town. The character, Emily, is quoted as saying, “Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it?-every, every minute?” If you know me and been around me enough, you have heard me say, “live in the moment with no regrets.” Today’s reading takes that statement to another level. It is important for us to live in the moment, and it is just as important to be alive, alert, aware, and attentive in the moment. As Kundtz continues, “We just need, as much as we can, to realize life, now… Look into the eyes of those you are with as though you were really seeing them, that is, attending to them as fully as you can, being aware as much as possible of all that is going on in the moment.” May we always truly see other and they see that we truly see them.

Job 32:8 says, “But it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding.” Let us work to be attentive, seeing the spirit within each other, welcoming and embracing the communing among ourselves and connection in love with each other and Christ.

Small Straws Scripture: Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

God will provide what we need to overcome temptation, and If you stumble, don't get discouraged. Use the experience as an opportunity to learn and grow, and seek forgiveness and strength from God.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Know that our Father has a limitless capacity to what He can do for us; He can do the unimaginable and unthinkable, the impossible and the unbelievable. Try Him, trust Him, and believe in and on Him.
