Even when we may misstep, our Father is there to redirect us and lead us on to where He has planned for our lives

Unresponsive? Maybe Not

This morning’s message tells about a woman, Amy, who visits another, Kate, in a nursing home. Although Amy speaks, sings, calls her name, and tells things to make Kate laugh, she’s unresponsive with pretty much a blank stare. Yet, as she wraps up her visit with the Lord’s Prayer say, “Our Father, who art in heaven”, Kate continues with, “Hallowed be thy name…”. This goes to show us, as the writer reminds us, God can always get through to us, no matter our condition. Let us stay prayerful for ourselves and one another.

Jonah 2:2 reads, “He said: ‘In my distress I called to the Lord, and he answered me. From the depths of the grave I called for help, and you listened to my cry.’”

Even when we may rebel and be in despair, we can call on our Father God, and He is right there.

Small Straws Scripture: Ephesians 3:14-19

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Let us all seek the opportunity to receive God’s immeasurable strength and love for us.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Hebrews 12:2

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Let us focus intently and intensely on our Father as we work to run our race in life, taking the steps and going where He leads us.

Even when we may misstep, our Father is there to redirect us and lead us on to where He has planned for our lives, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
