Proverbs 12:1 says, “If you love learning, you love the discipline that goes with it-how shortsighted to refuse correction!” As the message continues, “Change occurs in you as you spend time with God, learning about Him from His Word.… As you understand how completely you are loved and accepted, you will find the courage to let go of the ideal, of perfection. You will let go of fear and worry as you grow to trust God more and more…. As you begin loving learning and thriving on correction, you will find more and more pleasure in your inner beauty.” Correction in Christ cultivates us into who He desires us to be.
