God…Our Constant Companion

There was a time in my life when I would lie awake and wonder and worry. However, I learned in my journey that worry ends where faith begins. So, anytime now that I find myself awake, I work to get things off my mind by writing down what comes to mind, or I go ahead and do my devotional time to see if there is a message God has for me. Today’s text says, “If you find you can't sleep, make good use of that wakeful time in the night hours-talk to God about your fears. He hears every prayer of His needy children, and He fills them with His peace.” Take everything to Him and leave it, and know He will take care and give you answers.

Psalm 63:6-8 reads, “When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches, for You have been my help, and in the shadow of Your wings I sing for joy. My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.”

No matter our circumstances, we can always find serenity in the Father.

Lead me in your truth and teach me for You are the God of my salvation.

In all we do, let us rely on God and His guidance for our lives.

The birth of our Lord and Savior is the reminder that salvation and joy has been given to all the world forever.
