Freedom is found in the Father
Jesus said to her.."Go to my brothers and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God! "Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, "I have seen the Lord." John 20:17-18 ESV
Today’s devotional speaks about Mary Magdalene being “A Freed Woman”. The writer this morning says, “Because of Jesus, Mary's life was forever changed. She was no longer afraid but trusting. No longer broken but whole. No longer a mess but a message.” She was committed to our Father without hesitation and doubt. May each of of learn to trust Him in the same manner, for He loves us and will never let us down. We can always trust Him to provide.
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (1 Thessalonians 4, 1 Thessalonians 5, & 2 Thessalonians 1)
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV
1 Peter 4:16
Everything that we go through is of God. Suffering is of the Savior, and He won’t give you more than you can bear.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Freedom is found in the Father, my friend.
