We can live lavishly with the Lord if we let Him bless us

“God will lavish you with good things...God will throw open the doors of His skyvaults and pour rain on your land…”

Deuteronomy 28:11-12

Deuteronomy 28:11-12 highlighted with today’s devotional says, “God will lavish you with good things...God will throw open the doors of His sky vaults and pour rain on your land.” But He can’t if we don’t let Him. Osteen says today, “Give God permission to increase you. Give Him permission to lavish you with good things.” There was a long period of time that I would not allow God to do what He wanted for my life. I blocked my own blessings, but no longer. We must pay attention to what He desires to do in our lives. He is the ultimate protector of our hearts, so we can let our guard down. This year if 45 is only close to a month in, but I see what He is doing and wants to do in my life. I’ll BE patient and REceive all of the lavish things that He has for me.

Isaiah 31

Let us not REly on (wo)man to BE our guide in this life, for as written in Isaiah 31:3, “When the Lord stretches out his hand, those who help will stumble, those who are helped will fall; all will perish together.”

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

Meyer BEgins her message today saying, “Philippians 2:3 says to regard others more than yourself. The Holy Spirit wants to develop in us a desire to prefer others and meet their needs.” There are some of us, just like myself, who give and do for others so freely—it’s truly within us, but as we give we do get taxed, and many times desire to BE in isolation, searching for our own peace and space. Meyer goes on to say, “But we must remember that God gives us grace to do whatever He's asking us to do.” There are some of us who have BEen anointed and appointed to help and bring out the BEst in others. Let us not miss our blessings BEing so focused on trying to find peace on our own. The Father will provide it in the ways that we need, sometimes from actually interacting with just the one you need.

Proverbs 23:24

Let us strive to BE the BEst we can BE to bring JOY to our Father, who only wants what’s BEst for you and me.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
