He dwells in us and walks with us

“They won't be afraid of bad news; their hearts are steady because they trust the Lord.” Psalm 112:7

I am so grateful that God does provide each of us with “Steady Hearts”, as is the title of today’s message from “Daily Strength for Women”. As the context of the devotional states, “None of us like to receive bad news, but we do not live in dread of it like those whose security is shaky. Our hope is rooted in our steadfast Lord, and our confidence comes from knowing him.” No matter what comes our way, we know our lives are in His hands. In all things He is there and will bring us through; we just must remain steadfast in His love and focused in our faith.

Reflection from You Are Not Alone by Armchair Theology Publishing

Today we begin “You Are Not Alone” by Armchair Theology Publishing. This series begins with the discussion about mental illness saying, “Many with mental illness suffer from embarrassment, bias, and stigma which leads them to feeling isolated and alone.“ It goes further to reassure us that these individuals are far from being alone. In the bible there are a number of people who suffered, but as with everything else, this message reminds us that biblical examples of mental illness, specifically depression are not just stories. “These people struggled with mental illness just as people do today. You are not alone in your struggles. There are others in your life who struggle with mental illness.” As with all other situations, turn to Christ for comfort and guidance. He will work to calm your soul, body, and mind. We never walk alone, and we never struggle alone.

Philippians 2:5

Christ is a part of each of us, therefore, may we respect and reflect Him as we work and engage with each other.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

He dwells in us and walks with us, my friend.
