When we read God’s Word, we want it to be personal in every way. It doesn’t matter how long ago it was written and that it was written in a male’s perspective due to a male dominated society. We our encouraged to make it our own. The author encourages us, “It's God's Word meant for you. So truly take it to heart by making it your very own. Make it personal. Because if God is nothing else, He's personal.” Includes yourself and embrace yourself in the verses.

Psalm 119:11 reads, “I have hidden your word in my heart.” May His word dwell in us and with our every thought, action, and deed.

Small Straws Scripture: Jeremiah 31:3 The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you.

His love for us is unwavering and eternal that continues to draw us closer to Him.
