Though our Father goes BEfore us, He is still with us

“Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted propose your plan, but it will not stand for God is with us.” Isaiah 8: 10

In today’s message “The Final Say”, Osteen says, “Just because the problem forms doesn't mean it has to prosper. We may have things come against us because of genetics, things that have been passed down. The good news is God has the final say. God can override it, so stay in faith.” With God all things are possible, to include miracle working power to do the unexplainable. It’s all about God’s plan and not that of (wo)man.

Isaiah 12

As written in Isaiah 12:1-2, “I will praise you, O Lord! You were angry with me, but not anymore. Now you comfort me. See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The Lord God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory.”

In the message “Courage to Be Yourself” Meyer emphasizes that God did not design us to live for the approval of others, and we must dare to BE different. She says, “You must have the courage to be different. Unhappiness and frustration happen when we reject our uniqueness and try to be like each other.” Yesterday I had a conversation with an individual I met over the weekend. He said, “It was a pleasure to meet you and know that there are still people who can engage in conversation and just be themselves.” I REsponded to him like I do with many people, quoting Mary J. Blige, I said, “Take me as I am or have nothing at all.” I wore the mask for a while, working to live up to expectations of others which caused me to lose myself, but when I turned to the Father and walked boldly in faith He REstored me to who He created me to BE, and I REmain authentic and true.
