Let us give freely of what He has blessed us with and when we don’t have to give, seek to trust in Him to provide

Give It All

2025 is quickly coming to an end, and many are beginning to think of new year resolutions. Instead of resolutions, let us think of “What has Christ asked you to let go of? What are you holding tightly to? Most of us don't have great wealth…but are we willing to give up what we do have to serve Him?” That’s what was posed in today’s devotional and something for us to truly consider as we enter into 2026. Many of us may outwardly appear as if all is well, but internally we are dealing with our own hell. It’s time to reveal so we can heal, whether through our personal experiences and work with Christ, in combination with a therapist, and or with a friend or others to help us get T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) for our breakthrough in the new year. Let us not enter another year in pieces but in peace and one with the Father.

Mark 10:21-22 reads, “Jesus looked him hard in the eye and loved him! He said, ‘There's one thing left: Go sell whatever you own and give it to the poor. All your wealth will then be heavenly wealth. And come follow me.’ The man's face clouded over. This was the last thing he expected to hear, and he walked off with a heavy heart. He was holding on tight to a lot of things, and not about to let go.”

Let us all realize that the way to true eternal life is not through worldly riches, but through freely giving of what you have on this earth to others and following our Lord and Savior.

Small Straws Scripture: Psalm 46:10

Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

When you feel yourself struggling, worrying, and trying to control everything, stop, and let go and let God. Selah. Pause and let Him. Give Him control and surrender unto Him and watch Him work things for your good.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Luke 1:46-47

And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

Like Mary, let us always work to magnify the Lord through rejoicing and praising His name.

Let us give freely of what He has blessed us with and when we don’t have to give, seek to trust in Him to provide, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋
