Let us stay present, fulfilled in Christ, led by Christ not worrying about life
Asking for Trouble
Why in the world would we ask for trouble? And believe it or not, we do. When we worry, that is exactly what we are doing. The messenger today reminds us, “God's Word is very clear about worrying. God says: Don't do it! Did you know that it is actually a sin to worry? When we worry, we are telling God that we don't trust Him enough with our future.” As we sense ourselves beginning to worry, let us capture the thought and give it to God, knowing that He has every plan, ever answer, and every opportunity for us. Let us trust and believe in Him. Build up your trust in the Lord. As one of my favorite sayings reminds us as well, “worry ends where faith begins.” Where is your faith?
Matthew 6:34 reads, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Let us stay focused on this day and what is before us, for it is enough to be engaged with without thinking of what’s to come.
Small Straws Scripture: Ephesians 3:14-19
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height--to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
May we be internally strengthened in and by Christ, leading and doing all things in love so that others may witness and experience His love through us.
Youversion Verse of the Day: John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
No matter what others or this life attempts to take from us, our Father will fulfill.
Let us stay present, fulfilled in Christ, led by Christ not worrying about life, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
