Let us wait in the Word without worry
How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Psalm 119:9-11
“The Word”, the title and focus of today’s message, reminds us that without it “we are defenseless to successfully live the Christian life”. Let the scriptures that we know and hold deep in our hearts help lead, guide, and redirect us along each day. May we seek the Word for messages to assist us from going astray.
Reflection from Waiting Here For You: An Advent Journey of Hope by Louie Giglio
Today we begin “Waiting Here For You: An Advent Journey of Hope” by Louie Giglio. The focus today is “Just The Right Time Reflection”, which speaks to the importance of our waiting. It says, “All of us are waiting on something, often wondering if God has forgotten us. In your waiting, let the birth of Christ encourage you. Just because God hasn’t come through (as far as you can see), it doesn’t mean He has abandoned you.“ God’s promises are true and kept by Him. He will continue to come through for me and you. All things in His perfect timing for us to be prepared and receive.
Matthew 6:14
