She Gave, and He Gave Back

Today’s message focused on Dorcas, an individual who was of service to others and people experienced a great loss when she passed. The message stated, “When you give your life to serve others, you are honoring God—and finding life.” We all live more abundant life when we commit our lives to service. What will you do today and how will you commit each day to serving here on earth?

Acts 9:39 reads, “Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.”

May the work we do be pleasing in God’s eyes and impact fellow believers’ lives providing hope and inspiration to others.

Small Straws Scripture: Isaiah 51:3

For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord; joy and gladness will be found in it, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.

Our Father promises to comfort and restore His places and people with beauty, both physically and spiritually, if we are willing to receive it.

May we all work to have a childlike faith, simply knowing, trusting, and believing in God without any hesitation or reservations.
