Love the Lord and thyself
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8 NIV
1 Peter 4:8 says, “Above all, love each other deeply, because ‘Love Covers’ over a multitude of sins. Though this is our directive, today’s devotional says, “When you love people deeply, you become vulnerable. That doesn't mean you must subject yourself to abusive or toxic relationships. God doesn't tell us that we have to put ourselves in harm's way deliberately so that we can show love to abusers.” We must sometimes love someone enough to let them go, and love ourselves enough to do the same.
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (2 Chronicles 13, 2 Chronicles 14, & 2 Chronicles 15)
“See, God is with us at our head, and his priests have their battle trumpets to sound the call to battle against you. O Israelites, do not fight against the Lord, the God of your ancestors; for you cannot succeed.” 2 Chronicles 13:12 NRSV
John 20:29
We haven’t seen Him, but we have experienced Him, His love and protection to know that He is real.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Love the Lord and thyself, my friend.
