May most of each day be spent dwelling with Christ
“My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
2 Corinthians 12:9 states, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.” The writer today says, “You may be facing something that you are worried about because it is outside of your comfort zone. Will you consider that God can shine through you as you acknowledge you complete reliance on his Holy Spirit?” Joel 3:10 also says, “Let the weak say, I am strong.” There are areas in our lives that we struggle with our must ask for help, and that is ok. None of us are perfect, but as the scripture says His power is perfected in weakness. May we lean on Christ to help us in the areas where we are not strong so that He continues to show He is God all by himself and able to continually work in us and for our good.
Reflection from Reset Your Life
The final message from “Reset Your Life” is titled “Jesus in Relationship”. It begins by saying, “Nothing is more important than spending time with Jesus.” The author goes on to say, “God isn’t interested in weighing us down with rules and requirements. Instead, He wants to transform our hearts. This happens as we spend time with Him.” As I reflect back on my walk and growth in Christ, as a child, it seemed like I had to be perfect and could not imagine keeping up with all of the rules and requirements I heard about in the bible. Yet, as I decided to study the Word for myself, I found just what today’s message said. The more time I spent with Christ, the more I realized His love and desire for me? His goodness, grace, mercy, and favor overshadows the few commandments that seemed to be so daunting as a child. I encourage you to spend more intentional time with Him to see all the goodness that stored up but overflowing and limitless for all who believe.
