“When they were discouraged, I smiled and that encouraged them and lightened their spirits." Job 29:24

If you can’t do anything else for someone, the message this morning encourages us to “Keep Smiling”. Job 29:24 reads, “When they were discouraged, I smiled and that encouraged them and lightened their spirits." The author also writes, “Our most authentic forms of communication occur without a word.” May we us what’s free and God-given to help a brother or sister along life’s journey. We know sometimes what family and friends are going through, but not the stranger we pass by. That doesn’t matter. A smile from you can brighten someone’s day or change their thoughts. Try it, and impact lives without having to do anything out of the ordinary.

Proverbs 18:12 reminds us, ”Pride leads to destruction; humility leads to honor.“ Let us be humble with the blessings we receive, the words we speak, and the actions we take.
