Today’s message speaks to the fact that that it is important for us to look our best, but we must ensure that internally God shines through what we may adorn ourselves with externally. As the writer says, “All your designer clothes and expensive accessories are worthless- an artificial beauty—if Christ's love is not radiating through your entire being.” Let us ensure our natural beauty exudes through our heart and our spirit as we work to draw others to Christ.

1 Timothy 2:9-10 reads, “In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; but (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.”

Our inner beauty is so much more important than designer items we can purchase, for what God provides us is priceless.

Small Straws Scripture: Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Our Father chose us as His own even before choosing this world.
