May the joy of the Lord forever fill our souls
May all who fear you find in me a cause for joy, for I have put my hope in your word. Psalm 119:74
This morning’s devotional has giving me an acronym for JOY—“Joy: Jesus Occupying You”. The question was asked in today’s message, “Have you ever met someone you immediately knew was filled with joy?” I am coming to realize that I am that person. Definitely not being cocky, but I am confident in Christ. I love to share all that He has done for me. I want to share the joy He has given me. May our joy forever permeate and rub off on others for Him to come to know Him.
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (Proverbs 30, Hebrews 8, 9, & 10)
As we prepare to celebrate the risen Savior, let us reflect upon Hebrews 9:27-28. ”Everyone has to die once, then face the consequences. Christ’s death was also a one-time event, but it was a sacrifice that took care of sins forever. And so, when he next appears, the outcome for those eager to greet him is, precisely, salvation.“
Romans 6:5
May we be connected with Christ, here on earth and eternally, living forever with Him.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
May the joy of the Lord forever fill our souls, my friend.
