May we abide with in Christ, working and engaging, loving and lifting as we go

Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. Genesis 2:3 NIV

The emphasis of today’s devotional is that God rested on “The Seventh Day”. “God rested because He was finished. He was fulfilled. He was satisfied with a job well done”, today’s devotional reads. May you and I work unto Him each day, and successfully accomplish what He calls us to do, and then rest and reflect on what He has helped us bring to completion.
