May we be led by the reverent fear of God each day
By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. Hebrews 11:7 ESV
Today’s devotional says, “‘A Life of Faith’ requires foresight. It requires a belief in God's goodness that's even stronger than the belief in the here and now.” The writer uses Noah as the prime example for us to follow. Hebrews 11:7 says, “By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.” Let us truly be intentional by the hearing and doing of what God is saying to us individually, no matter how others may respond to our reverent fear to Him. Faith…the evidence of things not seen, when we trust and believe.
