May we be like children in Christ to reap all that He has for us in this life
Some people brought their little children to Jesus so he could touch them, but his followers told them to stop. When Jesus saw this, he was upset and said to them, "Let the little children come to me. Don't stop them, because the kingdom of God belongs to people who are like these children. I tell you the truth, you must accept the kingdom of God as if you were a little child, or you will never enter it." Mark 10:13-15
We are to be “Like Little Children”, “God wants us to be open and honest about our feelings. He wants us to trust Him wholeheartedly, just like little kids do”, the author writes this morning. Children are innocent and speak freely about what they see, think, and feel. Let us remember that we are Christ’s children and we can be that open and honest, for He already knows our hearts and thoughts. Go to Him and tell Him how you feel and what you want. He already knows; He just wants to hear from us.
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together
Let us remember God’s commandments as we go about this life. Most importantly remember our Father said in Exodus 20:2-3, ”’I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before me.’” Our Father loves us and is a jealous god. Let us not hurt the one who loves us most.
