May we give freely but know the boundaries our Father has set in our lives

You have set a boundary that they may not pass over, that they may not return to cover the earth. Psalm 104:9 NKJV

God has set “Boundary Lines” in our lives. As with the rainbow after the flood, today’s message reminds us, “God sets forth boundaries in your life as well. Those ‘boundary lines’ fall for you in ‘pleasant places’ (Psalm 16:6 NIV)”, meaning, “…your joy is found in Him, not your circum-stances.” Things may not look favorable in some situations, but we can rest assured that God will take care of us and has better things in store for us.

“The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NRSV‬‬
