No greater gift will we ever receive than that of Christ
There were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them. Luke 2:8-10
“The Table” is a setting found throughout the bible with significance and where times are shared with others in fellowship. Today’s devotional speaks to that location this time of year saying, “Something beautiful happens when friends and family gather around delicious food. Conversation can lead almost anywhere. The beauty of the Christmas season is discovered in smiles, laughter, and joy-filled memories.“ May you take advantage of invitations (and extend them as well) to share in the moment with friends and loved ones who we have been blessed to have in our lives.
Reflection from Noel: Christmas is for Everyone
Today’s message “The Greatest Gift” begins with John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” The writer says, “As Christ-followers, we’ve received a gift that will keep on giving forever—a gift that will never get old, never break, never wear out, never be empty, and will never lose its value; the greatest gift the world has ever known . . . and all we have to do is believe.” That’s it—that’s the greatest gift for all (wo)mankind. Our Father loved us better than His own. Let us keep that in perspective. Another life was taken for you and I to live forevermore. Let us humbly remember the true meaning for this season.

The ultimate gift is that of the Child who was born unto us, given to us, and given up for us.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
No greater gift will we ever receive than that of Christ, my friend.
