Daily Devotional for March 12, 2021
We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. 2 Corinthians 4:7 NKJV
We must trust God in our celebrations and our challenges, for what doesn’t kill us will truly make us stronger. I was listening to a business partner yesterday, and he made a statement that said something like, “God is not punishing you, He is preparing you. Trust His plans, not your pain.” As I continuously say, we have to go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) for our breakthrough. Pain is a part of growth, it’s not permanent. Know He has the power to heal your hurt if you trust Him with your life.
Hosea 5
We may avoid others, but we cannot hide from our Father. As in Hosea 5:15, may we REturn again to our place until we acknowledge our guilt and seek His face. In our distress may we beg for His favor (Hosea 5:15 NRSV).
REflection from Restoration: Deluxe Bible Plan
Lecrae REminds us this morning that even when we work to pursue our passion and purpose we can BEcome distracted. We may sometimes neglect those people and things we need most, whether intentionally or not. But unlike us, God doesn’t pass us off. Lecrae says, “When good pursuits get in the way of God's pursuits we only need to repent and turn back. God never stops pursuing us; and because of his steadfast love, restoration is possible.” Today I chose to pause from my pursuit to spend time with my heartbeats—my kids, and to pause for prayer and praise. Take time to pause for yourself; BE still and know that He is God.
Psalms 91:2
He is our all and we can give Him our all, and trust Him with our all so that we may BEcome all He wants us to BE. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Focus on the fierce fortitude from the Father to keep you in faith this Friday, my friend.
