The Dawn of Mourning

Mourning allows us to release the hurt and pain we feel from loss. In today’s devotional, as mourning is mentioned, it is related to the Beatitudes. The author writes, “He is referring to what happens when we are hit with the overwhelming realization that we are spiritually lost beings in need of a Savior.” Our Father desires to give us new life each and every time we fall; we can begin again in Him.

Matthew 5:4 says, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."

We all can find comfort and security in Christ when we grieve from falling short of our sins.

For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.

The truth will always be revealed in time.
