Praise Him in advance and regardless of what is to come, for the reward comes with obedience, and with obedience a peace that surpasses all understanding

One who heard us was a woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple goods, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul. And after she was baptized, and her household as well, she urged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." Acts 16:14-15 ESV

God provides us with “Rewards of Willingness”. There are times in our lives where we want to be selfish and keep to ourselves or keep what is ours. Whether it’s something tangible that we worked for and purchased, or whether it’s knowledge and positioning that we studied and proved ourselves, it does matter. Our Father desires to reward us because we have to make decisions, and many times in difficult situations when quite honestly we aren’t willing. As today’s prayer says, “Help me to recognize when I need to offer help, and give me a willing heart.” We only have to be willing and He is able.

Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (Ezekiel 7, Ezekiel 8, Ezekiel 9, & Psalm 79)

“So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: We will shew forth thy praise to all generations.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭79‬:‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

John 14:27

The peace we receive from God is something that cannot come from another; it is indescribable and unwavering, keeping us in a state of level mind and spirit.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Praise Him in advance and regardless of what is to come, for the reward comes with obedience, and with obedience a peace that surpasses all understanding, my friend.
