Prayer is our protection and God is our source

Constant Prayer

I have heard the scripture “pray without ceasing” and this morning’s devotional is another reminder that we should be in constant prayer. The writer shares, “Prayer strengthens us for any battle. It's our armor and our mightiest weapon against fear, doubt, discouragement, and worry. Prayer changes our perspective and allows us to face the cares of each day. When our whole world is falling apart, prayer can keep us together.” When we have a moment, when we are wondering, and when we are worrying, those are the moments we need to turn to prayer.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 reads, “Be unceasing in prayer.” Every opportunity we have, let us use it to pray.

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Stop struggling, stressing, worrying, wondering, and be still to recognize and remember that our almighty God is sovereign.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭1‬ ‭“But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”

‭‭We all were formed and created by Him. We are special and we are His.
