Rest in the Lord and seek His guidance
“I have no rest; only trouble comes. Job 3:26 NLT
This morning’s message is titled “Treasures of Restlessness”. It says, “Job learned about who God is, but he also learned about himself. He learned that the bottom line to every experience we will ever have is that God is in charge.… Sometimes we need to be made restless before we can find true rest. Sometimes we need to be brought down low so we can know where to look for help.“ We have to be placed in situations where we exhaust all options and are left with no answer, causing us to depend solely on God. Not only does this allow Him to step in and do what we may have considered impossible, but it also allows us to truly understand the importance of letting go, resting, knowing God’s got us no matter what. If you’re restless or become restless, know you can rest assured in Christ.
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (2 Chronicles 6, 2 Chronicles 7, Psalms 97, Psalms 98, & Psalms 99)
“Thus may they fear you and walk in your ways all the days that they live in the land that you gave to our ancestors.” 2 Chronicles 6:31 NRSV
Proverbs 16:9
We may work to plan our path, but God is the strategist and provides the course and actions to take.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Rest in the Lord and seek His guidance, my friend.
