Sacrifice leads to so much more in the Savior
And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, l am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the Lord. 1 Samuel 1:15 KJV
We are of flesh and sometimes we just don’t want to do what’s right. In those situations we have to fight for “Willing Obedience”. The writer for today’s message says, “God delivered Hannah from a position of shame to one of respect when she sacrificed her son, Samuel…. The Lord honored Hannah's sacrifice and gave her five more children to love. When we think we have nothing left within us to offer the Lord, He will provide His gift through our own obedience to Him.” In times when we feel we are empty or at a loss, we must recall we only have to have faith of the size of a mustard seed, and be obedient, and receive so much more for trusting and believing in Him and His will for our lives.
Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (Hosea 9, Hosea 10, Hosea 11, & Hosea 12)
“Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb. My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.” Hosea 9:16-17 KJV
Deuteronomy 6:5
With everything we have, may we commit to the Lord.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Sacrifice leads to so much more in the Savior, my friend.
