Strengthening and blessings come from the testing of our faith

Even in his own land and among his own people, the Jews, he was not accepted. Only a few would welcome and receive him. But to all who received him, he gave the right to become children of God. All they needed to do was to trust him to save them. JOHN 1:11-12 TLB

Let us remember these words, “…there is no prestige or accomplishment or joy on earth that is greater than being a child of God.” That is the most distinguished honor we can hold in life. The others are truly just temporary or come with a tangible award that is eventually forgotten. But being a child of God lasts even into eternity. Have you made Jesus your own? Choose Him this day.
