Take time to rest and recover in the Lord

But those who wait for the LorD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; they will lift up their wings land rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; they will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired. Isaiah 40:31

“I Grow Weary” is the title of today’s devotional and is perfect for a Friday morning read. This life can consume you if you allow it; from the demands of work, responsibilities with our families, just to name a few. The writer says to us this morning “As long as we are warring inside, we will not find rest. We must find out what Jesus wants for our lives and then obey.” If we are not at peace anywhere else, we must be internally. Take time to focus on you, and the Father will help you through everything else. Take time to rest your mind, body, and soul—take control of you.

Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (Leviticus 13, 14, and 15)

When we may become sick, it is important to rest and recover; seven days is a common timeframe to consider in the word.

John 1:12

We only have to believe and accept Him for us to be called His own.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Take time to rest and recover in the Lord, my friend.
