The joy of the Lord is truly our strength to make it through

Keep your eyes focused on what is right, and look straight ahead to what is good. Proverbs 4:25

Let us work to choose “Joy…Minute by Minute”, as the title of today’s message reads. Proverbs 4:25 is highlighted which says, “Keep your eyes focused on what is right, and look straight ahead to what is good.” The writer says, “We are often ruled by our emo-tions, which is why it's so important to stay focused, especially when you're having a tough day.” Joy is truly a choice, and when we stay focused on Christ we can choose to be in joy every moment of our journey, for we know He will work everything for our good.

Reflection from Let’s Read the Bible Together (Proverbs 2, Romans 3, 4, and Psalms 32)

Our God is a comforting and forgiving god. As the scripture from Psalms 32:1-2 reads, “”Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit.“ We don’t have to be heavy burdened; confess and be forgiven by the Father, then walk in faith and learn from the lesson.
