The Lord is our everything and the reason for everything

But Ruth replied, "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go l will go, and where you stay l will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me." Ruth 1:16-17 NIV

As Ruth 1:17 says, “Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me”, for the Lord is our best friend. He can always depend on Him to never leave nor forsake us. ‘Til death and even after that, He is always a constant friend, indeed.
