Let us not hang our heads but hold them high with hope from Him
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 NIV
Many people are experiencing a challenging time right now, and many silently. They’re dealing with mental health issues, financial challenges to include the rise in cost of gas and food. Yet in these times are when we must turn our focus to the Father REmembering He will supply all our needs. In Osteen’s message he says, “One touch of God's favor can blast you out of Barely Enough and put you into More Than Enough.” I encourage you (as I encourage myself today) to focus on Jeremiah 29:11, and always REmember that He has plans to prosper and not to harm me and you. Greater is coming; just stay in faith.
Isaiah 19
As in the past, the Lord Almighty will bless us, saying, “Blessed be my people, my handiwork, and my inheritance”, as written in Isaiah 19:25.
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life
This morning Meyer speaks about hope in her message, “Hope: The Happy Anticipation of Good Things”. She says, “I define hope as ‘the happy anticipation of good things.’ When we anticipate the goodness of God in our lives, it opens the door to greater happiness. So are you aggressively hoping for something good to happen to you?” As life takes us along our JOurneY, sometimes we do lose hope, but let us work to keep today’s message in mind, REmembering that faith is the substance of things hoped for, and as Meyer says, it’s the anticipation of good things. So no matter what we are going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) greater is coming and goodness shall follow.
Psalm 119:114
God is our protector and REfuge; BEcause of His word we can anticipate great things, and not harm to come to our lives.
Let us not hang our heads but hold them high with hope from Him, my friend.
