We are powerful and must be bold and confident in Christ
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. Psalm 5:3
I love the title of today’s devotional, “Bold and Confident”. We serve an amazing God, and as the message says, “He is waiting for us to walk up to him and ask him anything.… He truly understands where we're coming from when we approach him. We don't need to muster up our courage! He wants us to be confident.” There is nothing too hard for God, therefore, there should be nothing too hard for us to ask in His name. Don’t hold back any longer. Go to Him as humbly as you know how, and ask what’s in your heart and what you desire. He’s waiting and listening to you.

I’m today’s final message, we are charged to “Identify Your Emotions”. We are reminded, “Jesus was emotional.…He allowed Himself to feel, and He understood the importance of acknowledging and expressing what He felt. He modeled to us what it looks like to feel, and in doing so, He permitted us to be in tune with our own feelings.“ The message then goes on to inquire from us if we allow ourselves to feel. A good friend of mine taught me the importance of feeling what I need to feel but not stay in it. As the devotional goes on, it reminds us, “If feeling the difficult feelings is part of the necessary strengthening of our emotional muscles, we’ll also experience the reward of stronger, richer, more powerful emotions on the other side.” Know that we grow through our discomfort and the rain in life; we need more than sunshine and security.
