Pour Out Your Heart

We are approaching the end of the month of September. It is known as the month of harvest and transition. Deriving from the Latin word “septem”, which means “seven”, I have come to consider it a time of completion. It’s truly a time to let some things go in order to prepare for what’s to come. Today’s message speaks about Hannah and how she poured out her soul to God, left her cares with him, and went on with life. Today and tomorrow (and even after that), let us focus on letting go of what is holding us back: “Got trouble? Get talking. Pour out your heart before the Lord. He is ready and waiting to listen. Give Him the desires of your heart. Leave your troubles at His feet. And then, knowing all is in His hands, worship Him, letting your newly unburdened heart rejoice! That's the order: Pour, petition, praise! Then watch the Lord shower miracles into your life!” I’m going to add one more step—proceed. We can move forward knowing that God’s got us and greater is upon us.

1 Samuel 1:15 says, “But Hannah replied, ‘No, my lord, I am a woman oppressed in spirit. I have poured out my soul before the LoRD.’”

Whatever has you consumed, release it to God to free your mind, body, and soul, for He’s in control.

Small Straws Scripture: James 5:14-17

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Let us seek our elders to pray for us and over us holistically, spiritually for growth, physically and mentally to be able to go on.

Youversion Verse of the Day: 1 Timothy 2:5-6

For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself a ransom for all —this was attested at the right time.

To be restored we only have to seek and call on the Lord; He will deliver us from whatever is keeping us from Him.

Whatever is keeping you from your best, pray and confess to other believers, and proceed with praise knowing God is preparing you to be blessed, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
