When we focus in on Christ we never lose or are guided in the wrong direction
Pleasing God or Pleasing Self
Today’s message focuses in on marriages saying “There is no room for selfishness in a marriage.” The writer goes on and states, “Most of us wives fall into the trap of people-pleasing. But it seems that the harder we try to please others, the less we are fulfilled. When we choose to put our focus on pleasing God, it doesn't matter what people say about us. Only in pleasing God, being obedient to His commands and guidelines for life, especially in our marriage relationships, do we truly feel fulfilled and content.”
God created women to be helpmates for men, not to lose themselves in marriage. Christ must be the head of the household and the center of a marriage. If this is not the case in your home and marriage, or any relationship for that manner, regardless make sure your first choice is Christ.
Galatians 1:10 (NLT) reads, “Obviously, I'm not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ's servant.”
Choosing Christ may leave to disruption in your life, but He is always the ultimate sacrifice and should be chosen over everyone and everything in life.
Small Straw Scripture: Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Let us focus on each day and let God have His way, leaving the future for Him to ordain, not for us to worry this day.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Colossians 3:1
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
Let us focus on God’s ways for our lives not those of yesterday’s ways here on earth.
When we focus in on Christ we never lose or are guided in the wrong direction, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
