Becoming a Follower

Life will inevitably seem to be out of control at times with so many things to do and not enough time; crises arising and other unexpected situations. However, as shared in today’s devotional, “You have the ability to live from your spirit instead of your emotions. The Spirit of God within you wants to guide you and give you something that can't come from your emotions alone daily peace. Relax and let the real you-your heart—lead and guide you in all truth. Instead of reacting to your circumstances, stop and respond to the voice of God.” This is exactly what I have learned through my growth in Christ and with to share with others. Let us not react out of emotion in situations but be still, go to God, and allow Him to show us how to respond.

Psalm 32:8 says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”

If we are open and receptive, our Father will show us, guide us, and equip us with the knowledge and tools we need for every situation.

Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

Let us never worry or be concerned, for all our needs are found in our faith and hope in the Lord.

Our Father is our firm foundation, our stability, our solid rock on which we can always depend.
