Light for a Dark Journey

There are times in life that we will be unable to see, literally and figuratively, how we should go about situations and circumstances. However, as today’s message highlights, “God will give light to those who don't even know what it is. He will straighten our paths in ways we could never envision. Just as a faithful friend guides a blind person through a dangerous intersection in a strange city, God will help us deal with the unknown. He never leaves us alone.” Whenever we cannot see the way in which we must go, we must walk by faith and not by sight, knowing that He will make everything alright.

Isaiah 42:16 reads, And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

When we cannot see, His is the ultimate Navigator to lead us into our destiny.

Small Straws Scripture: James 4:13-14

Come now, you who say: Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell and make a profit; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say: If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.

Let us be mindful and humble about future planning, for we have been given this day, and pray only that another shall be provided.
