We are warriors not worriers in Christ

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Sometimes we get news in life, and immediately BEgin to wonder how things will play out, but we are REminded in today’s message from Osteen that says, “The good news is that you end in victory, fulfilling your destiny. You can live in peace, knowing that in the end, all things are going to work to your advantage.” How do we know this? Our Father’s word is true, and never goes void, for it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, and accompanied the message today. This is one of my favorite verses, for it speaks of the promises that REmain ahead of us, REgardless of what we may have experienced yesterday. Internalize this: “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’” There is so much more in store in our lives this day and for all the days to come.

1 Samuel 8

In this life there will BE those who won’t agree with us on matters as we work to do the will of God, but as the Father speaks to Samuel in 1 Samuel 8:7-8, “‘Do everything they say to you,’ the Lord replied, ‘for they are rejecting me, not you… Do as they ask, but solemnly warn them about the way a king will reign over them.’” Let us REmember what goes around comes around. God is our vindicator.

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

Joyce Meyer’s message is right in alignment with that of Osteen’s this morning, saying, “As Christians, many of us have the idea that everything in our lives should be perfect simply because we are Christians. But Jesus clearly warned us, ‘In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration!’" (John 16:33 AMP). She then goes further saying, “Jesus said we would have to deal with worldly troubles. These things are a part of life that we must all face when we lay down our selfish desires to follow Him…. It's not always easy. Dying to self will bring necessary suffering, but remember, even in the face of our suffering, there is hope, for Christ has overcome the world!“ In this life we will suffer but success will come. We will face frustration to activate our faith to walk with Him. We will experience death of what we have known only to live a new life He has always had planned for us.

Hebrews 11:22-23

REmember if you can’t keep anything else in your life, keep the faith. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
