Trust His Truth

“When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings.” Psalms‬ ‭84:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I’m so grateful for the REminder this morning by Osteen that detours are a part of life’s JOurneY to our destination. Detours may come in many forms—a change in direction, distractions, doubt—but God will ensure that we REturn to the route and REstoration. Osteen says, “Maybe you’re on a detour right now, going through something you don’t understand. Don’t get discouraged. You’re just passing through… Your time is coming. As with Joseph, God is going to turn every stumbling block into a stepping stone.” Take time to RElax, REst, REflect, and BE REassured of the REward that is to come.

1 Samuel 7

Whenever you may feel discouraged, as in 1 Samuel 7:3, “... Turn your hearts to the Lord and obey him alone; then he will rescue you…”

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

I truly BElieve in the power of prayer, and today’s message by Meyer just goes to show that the Father hears us when we pray and call out to Him. Last night I sent a prayer to a friend, asking that God would provide strength for the individual mentally, emotionally, and physically, for this person had BEcome weak. This morning Meyer speaks to the subject “The Flesh is Weak, But You Don’t Have to Be”. She says, “As Christians, we must realize that without daily prayer and interaction with God, we have nothing. We all struggle with living according to our 'weak flesh,' but when we make prayer a priority, God strengthens us in the spirit, allowing us to overcome the limitations of the flesh.” Whatever we are going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) He will take us through. Nothing is impossible with God, but impossible BEcomes I’m possible when we trust in Him. Whatever you are praying for—healing, love, a child, a new career—pray without ceasing.
